Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP), a joint venture company of Lufthansa Technik AG and MacroAsia Corporation, offers a wide range of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to customers worldwide.
CHALLENGE
Lufthansa Technik Philippines wanted to look "outside the building" for maintenance and inspection solutions that could the aircraft MRO drive innovation.
SOLUTION
Collective Campus developed a custom startup matching program and went to market, identifying and recruiting startups and scale-ups from across the globe that could address the business challenges identified by Lufthansa Technik Philippines. Applications were assessed across myriad factors and shortlisted startups were invited to a pitch event in Manila in front of all leadership (including CEO) and the wider organisation.
OUTCOME
Over 100 applications were received from startups and scale-ups who could help the aircraft MRO with maintenance and inspection solutions, with 12 being invited to pitch, and several selected to develop solutions for Lufthansa Technik Philippines.
